Heading into the home stretch of the A1 GP, Team India will be looking for better finishes in the last two rounds in the calendar.
MUMBAI, March 30: Heading into the home stretch of the A1 GP, Team India will be looking for better finishes in the last two rounds in the calendar.A1 Team India are placed 12th among 22 countries with 30 points in the standings, their best position in three seasons.Narain notched seven top 10s and a victory in Zhuhai. India had finished 24th, which was second from last in the 2005-06 season and improved to 16th out of 24 in 2006-07. The team is buoyed by the fact that the last two rounds are in Shanghai (April 13) and the famous Brands Hatch (May 4), where they have done well and are favourites of Narain Karthikeyan.
Chief operating officer of the team, Yohann Setna told TOI, "We have good data from previous years on both circuits. That should help."Narain Karthikeyan, who considers Brands Hatch his backyard said, "Yeah, it is a favourite of mine. It is an awesome circuit."
